Introduction
The foundation of the Actio Tazama Transaction Monitoring service is its ability to evaluate incoming transactions for financial crime risk through the execution of a number of conditional statements (rules) that are then combined into typologies that describe the nature of the financial crime that the system is trying to detect. Typologies are in turn arranged into channels, according to an arrangement required by the operator.

The pain.001, pain.013 and pacs.008 messages are not submitted into the channels for evaluation. In the absence of interdiction, it is only necessary to trigger an evaluation of the over-all transaction flow when the pacs.002 transaction is submitted and the CRSP will only route the pacs.002 transaction to the rule processors for evaluation.
For the Actio Tazama MVP only a single channel was implemented, but additional channels can be created and existing typologies divided among the available channels by updating the Network Map.
